Brent oil price climbs above $106/bbl for first time since Aug 2014

MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- The price of the May futures for the Brent oil blend grew by 8.42% to U.S. $106.22 per barrel as of 6.51 p.m. Moscow time, climbing above $106 for the first time since August 8, 2014, as seen by PRIME in the trade data on Tuesday.

The April futures for the WTI oil blend gained 9.14% to $104.47 per barrel.
